eDoktor, a healthcare mobile app developed by Smotrow Design, featured on Radio Wave Tirana

In mid-2025, we were invited to develop eDoktor - a healthcare mobile app designed to fundamentally change how public medical services are delivered to citizens of Albania. The goal was ambitious: make healthcare accessible, transparent, and intuitive for everyone.

The core challenge was scale. Family doctor services, vaccination records, prescription management, appointment scheduling, medical documents, visit history, and doctor search - all of this had to come together in a single mobile application. And the interface had to remain clear and usable for people of all ages and levels of digital experience.

That's why healthcare app design became the central focus of the project. Our team worked at the intersection of product design, behavioral psychology, and multi-stage user testing to create an interface where every step feels logical and natural - regardless of who is using it.

In late 2025, the first version of eDoktor launched. The release has already drawn significant attention from government institutions, private investors, and the public. Recently, project co-founder Emil Andoni discussed the product and its roadmap on Radio Wave Tirana.

Smotrów Design continues to support the development of eDoktor as the platform evolves. The product is part of our broader mobile applications practice, where we design and develop products that balance complex functionality with intuitive, accessible interfaces.
